Denise Huginnie is an accomplished change leader, collaborator and the founder of Impact Focus.  She brings significant expertise in program development, measurement and evaluation plans, community collaboration models, strategic partnership development, strategic plan facilitation, infrastructure development and resource development.


Conducted nonprofit seminars, community outreach, bond feasibility studies and utility cost of service analyses for municipal clients.  Other clients have included financial services, human services, youth development, workforce development, arts, scientific and cultural organizations.  Her background includes than 25 years of experience in nonprofit, corporate and business management and professional advisory services.  She is also the founder of The Capacity Building Institute of North Texas. 


Highly experienced in developing nonprofit, for profit and social enterprise business plans.  Also provided fractional operational support services.  Served as senior advisor to numerous emerging growth companies, middle market businesses and corporations.  Varied consulting experience in government relations, community development, strategic planning for growth and exit, merger integration, and financial and market due diligence.


Early career experience includes extensive financial management experience with major corporations, serving as the senior financial executive for corporate business units with revenues over $500 million.  Holds MBA degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business, BS Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
